This local utility provider has been servicing Western Australia by operating an electricity network that connects their customers to energy sources from traditional and renewable energy sectors and delivering an essential service to community.

The Opportunity
As the Senior Secondary Systems Engineer will be required to work with the engineering team and take lead on major projects. You will also be required to manage third party consultancies across a range of transmission and distribution projects as well as be responsible for managing new designs that are applicable to Secondary systems, and ensuring deliverables are done within budget and in a timely manner.
To be successful in the role you will need the following:
Essential:
In depth understanding of transmission and distribution secondary systems
Strong experience in design and estimating of secondary systems.
Proficient understanding of engineering regulations and standards
Up to date with the latest technological advancements across, protection, automation, and telecommunication
Degree qualifications in Electrical or electronic engineering which is also recognised by Engineers Australia (membership details required)
Desirable:
Chartered Professional through Engineers Australia
Knowledge of Power System primary and secondary facilities.
