About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Manager of EITS (Early Intervention & Therapy Services), you will join a highly skilled team of Allied Health professionals who provide a range of tailored services to children and youth aged 0-18 years. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Manager by maintaining efficient and effective Psychology services including standardised assessments and evidence informed strategies to children and youth who may need to build emotional resilience, positive behaviours and good mental wellbeing. You will also bring with you strong leadership and supervision experience to support, mentor and lead the psychology team. This newly created full-time position is based in our Berwick, Pakenham and Cranbourne offices and will also entail visits to community settings and family homes within the Southern and Eastern regions of Melbourne.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You will be a qualified and registered Psychologist with clinical experience within a paediatric setting. Furthermore, you will have demonstrated knowledge of typical development and common conditions such as developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, behaviours of concern and trauma. Your exceptional leadership and people skills with a natural ability to listen, learn, influence and build effective relationships with your team will be key to your success.
