About the role
This pivotal role is situated within the Continuous Quality Unit, where the primary objective is to cultivate robust organisational systems and processes. These efforts are aimed at fostering continuous quality improvement initiatives, promoting best practices, and fortifying LGBTIQA+ and inclusivity initiatives within VACCA. As a key player, this position will spearhead activities geared towards upholding our Rainbow Tick accreditation, while also championing a holistic approach to LGBTIQA+ inclusive practices across the organization.
About You
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of the values that underpin VACCA’s vision and purpose
- An understanding and awareness of Aboriginal communities and the issues facing Aboriginal children, youth and families today, especially LGBTIQA+ people and other diverse communities.
- Capacity to analyse emerging trends in the LGBTIQA+ community and adjust guidance and services accordingly.
- Experience in organisational preparation for accreditation against a variety of external standards
- Ability to drive quality improvement plans, audit recommendations and frameworks associated with organisation-wide, best practice LGBTIQA+ and inclusivity initiatives.
