Form of workThe Suburban Connect consortium, comprising CPB Contractors, ACCIONA and Ghella, have been selected by the Victorian Government to deliver the first major tunnelling package on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.
The package includes construction of a 16-kilometre section of the project’s twin tunnels, including tunnelling between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, 55 safety cross passages between the tunnels, station boxes at Clayton and Monash and the construction of portals – the entrances and exits to the tunnels – at the stabling facility.
About the Opportunity:
Join our team as Senior Quality Advisor. You'll be the key to monitoring and maintaining the requirements of the Project Quality Management System and systems for data, document and record management.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting project personnel in the implementation of the project quality management system and development of work process documentation
- Preparation and review of documentation to/from subcontractors and suppliers
- Providing guidance, support, coaching and/or mentoring on quality related matters/issues to site personnel
- Improving the construction quality and verification processes in accordance with the deed and the Quality Management Plan
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience including relevant degree and construction quality management experience
- Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems
- Good communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience as an Auditor of Quality Management Systems
