About Us:
We are launching a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Victoria, scheduled to begin construction in 2023. The selected candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the project's quality and compliance.
Primary Objective:
- Oversee quality control and assurance during the BESS facility construction.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing quality issues.
- Ensure project delivery within budget and timeline.
- Lead and guide the QAQC team.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors for quality.
- Participate in contractor selection.
- Develop and implement QAQC plans.
- Monitor compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate inspections and tests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders.
- Track and report quality metrics.
- Manage non-conformance processes.
- Build strong client relationships.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the team.
- Identify and address quality improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Quality management certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
- 10+ years of quality control/assurance experience in construction.
- Experience with large-scale renewable projects.
- Knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
- Technical proficiency in quality management.
- Understanding of construction processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
