About the role
- Permanent full-time role, reporting to Quality Assurance Manger
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address Quality issues, determining root cause
- Daily quality inspections including testing, quality checks, CCP monitoring, GMP audits and calibration and implementing corrective actions
- Educate and engage staff in relation to quality standards, GMP requirements, corrective action procedures, process control and Food Safety Culture
- Daily quality activities including line walks, product release, monitoring retention samples and issuing quality documentation
- Conduct sampling, product and environmental testing for microbiological, allergen, hygiene and chemical testing as per the schedule
- Assist with management of the HACCP support programs and improvement of the Quality Management System including participation in 3rd party and internal audits

About you:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance, Food Science / Technology or process improvement
- Demonstrated experience in a Quality Assurance role in the FMCG and / food & beverage manufacturing industry
- Experience with HACCP, SQF or similar recognised quality systems
- Excellent understanding of food safety requirements
- Sound communication skills in working closely with a range of internal and external customers
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence diverse audiences
- Sound administration and organisational skills with proven ability to independently manage workloads
- Demonstrated time management skills, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as autonomously
