About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join one of our tribes to work on a high-profile, business critical project and provide QE expertise across key product features.

In your scrum team, working closely with 4 developers and a senior BA, you will be responsible for executing the tribe’s quality strategy, measuring and improving the team’s quality outcomes and you will perform hands on testing, both manual and automated.  

With a strong quality lense, our expectation is that you will lead testing conversations and decisions across the team, driving outcomes to promote and advocate testing automation.  You will also guide the team on how to improve testing efforts and efficiencies.

About you;

We want you to bring your strong testing automation skills and experience to this role (we currently use Cypress), as well as coding (C#), Unit and integration testing.

In addition to your strong QE skills, you have experience working with teams that have a strong back-end focus, and you bring a solid understanding of databases and API testing knowledge.

Any exposure to, and understanding complicated financial calculations (i.e. reconciliations) and the finance sector will be highly beneficial, not only for the project, but also for broader team and business understanding.

• End-to-end, manual and non-functional testing  
• Ability to perform test code reviews with programmers to understand code coverage
• Ability to understand and quantify risks when evaluating testing requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally
