What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality & Planning Coordinator, to join our National Sales division in permanent full-time capacity.
The National Sales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national vehicle sales, fleet, integrated planning and logistics activities in order to achieve vehicle sales volume, market share and profitability objectives.
The Senior Quality & Planning Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading the national vehicle logistics administrative functions of Quality, Transport and Processing in order to prepare systems for new models, maintain supply continuity of parts, manage transport supplier contractual requirements and maintain / improve vehicle logistics quality processes and outcomes.
This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you’ll make an impact
Ensure on time SAP preparation for new and change vehicle introduction, summarise regional processing targets to form and track at national level.
Ensure national logistics targets are set and achieved. Oversea national logistics administration activity including stock take, daily reporting, interstate prioritisation and commercial matters.
Ensure vehicle quality processes are maintained and improved and ensure damaged vehicle insurance claim and repair processes are done in a timely manner.
Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommend countermeasures where required to ensure that agreed objectives can be achieved.
Coordinate with related upstream groups via new model meetings and within National Sales for sales target setting integration.
Update and maintain reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.

Degree qualification in business, supply chain or engineering, or strong background in supply chain and vehicle logistics.
Automotive supply chain knowledge (desirable).
Experience in Insurance and Quality processes.
Understanding of SAP based MRP systems.
Experience in managing supplier relationships and contracts.
Proven experience coaching others with a project management background (desirable).
