Summary:
We have an opportunity in the commercial space. Reporting into the Senior Associate Director, this role is client facing focusing on preparation of quantum claims, delay analysis, contract administration and management. Working both autonomously and as part of the broader Anvelo team, you will be tasked with delivering the highest level of contractual advice and expert commercial services to clients in the heavy construction and infrastructure industry.
Key responsibilities include:
• Discovery of Causative Events to compile position papers.
• Compiling documents and collating statements of facts.
• Drafting variation and EOT positions.
• Collating costs in support of matters.
• Quantum valuations.
• Lead contractual negotiations.
• Review of contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare contractual departure schedules.
• Client relationship and stakeholder management.
• People management and team building.
Experience and skills needed:
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
• Experience with quantum claims and quantity surveying, preferably in the transport infrastructure and/or heavy construction sectors
• Strong working knowledge of contract administration and management
• Relevant formal qualifications in quantity surveying. Chartered preferred.
• Stakeholder management and ability to influence desired outcomes
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Project controls experience is desirable
• Adept at project and change management
