We are looking for an experienced animal management professional to join our team as a Senior Ranger. You will be joining our small team who all share a passion for dogs, community engagement and education!
As you will be working with the public, your strong conflict resolution skills and calm, relaxed and friendly demeanour will be key to your success. Your main responsibilities will be collecting roaming dogs, educating dog owners, and investigating dog attacks.
Ideally, you will have relevant experience handling dogs, along with at least 2 years in investigation, enforcement and community education. You will need excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills and being physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg is essential, as you will be lifting dogs into the crate in the vehicle.
