SalaryMARS Recruitment are partnering with a national Rehabilitation provider seeking a Senior Rehabilitation Counsellorto join their Sydney based team in there Alexandria or Paramatta locations. This team have been servicing Australia for over 25 years and provides Rehabilitation Case Management services to people with varying illnesses, injury or disability.
As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work collaboratively with your clients and hold a commitment to excellence and innovation. You will provide personalised care to empower individuals on their journey to recovery and independence and will play a vital role in delivering quality care and improving the quality of life for clients.
Additional Duties:
- Provide counselling support to individuals navigating unexpected shifts in their career aspirations and life circumstances.
- Administering assessments aimed at guiding individuals towards their redefined career paths.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise recovery results for clients.
- Crafting phased reintegration strategies through communication with external sources such as GPS, Nurses and other health professionals, aligning with suitable timelines and objectives.
- Working as a Senior within your space, and helping individuals navigate the complexities of return to work.
You will be joining a national organisation that wants to see you flourish. There will be multiple pathways for career advancement, such as national leadership opportunities, or tailored positions such as:
CTP Specialist, Medicolegal Assessor, Subject Matter Expert, Portfolio Manager, Relationship Manager, Technical Specialist, or Team Manager.
You'd be a GREAT fit for the role if you are:
- A fully qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor (FULL ASORC or RCAA membership mandatory) or registered Psychologist (full AHPRA reg)
- Experienced in Case Management with expertise in Return to Work.
- Able to deliver counselling services to clients dealing with sudden change in work circumstances.
- Skilled in conducting assessments and providing career guidance.
- You have the ability to deliver counselling to people who are dealing with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances.
- Knowledgeable with complex diagnoses and conditions.
- You are a passionate and independent professional.
