About the role:
Village Roadshow is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of deciphering business requirements, designing, building and deploying high-impact QLIK Sense solutions and services. As the Senior Reporting Analyst, you will also shoulder the responsibility of overseeing administration, maintenance, and providing support in these critical areas.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis, collaborating closely with business users
- Manage the scope of requirements and facilitate business workshops
- Document business requirements and obtain stakeholder approvals in a timely manner
- Conduct proposed solution options analysis
- Build and enhance QLIK Sense solutions
- Maintain and support End-user Security Roles and other security-related components
- Develop Data Visualisation objects, such as Dashboards on the Qlik Sense Platform
- Analyse data errors in underlying QVDs/Tables/SAP BeX queries
- Provide maintenance and support for Qlik Sense reporting platform
- Assess the impact analysis of changes and resolve helpdesk incidents and service requests within SLA parameters
- Organise reviews of proposed solutions and deliver optimum BI solutions as per VRL BI Architecture Strategy
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders for timely delivery of quality solutions
About you:
We are seeking someone who has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to self-prioritise in a busy environment. If you have the desire and curiosity to self-develop new skills in AWS Cloud-based analytics platforms and related technologies, this could be the right role for you!
The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:
- Significant experience with QLIK Sense
- Extensive SQL query experience
- Proficient in Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology is preferable
- Exposure to SAP BW and BEX Queries is desirable
- Customer service focus and orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
