About The Role
Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in tenement management and reporting? Are you passionate about compliance and ensuring statutory obligations are met? We have an opportunity for a Senior AdvisorTenements & Reporting to join our team!
Reporting to the Tenement and Access Manager, you will be accountable for preparing and lodging Iluka Resources (and subsidiaries) statutory reporting in SA, NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and NT. A key aspect of this role will also involve the management of South Australian tenure to ensure security and maintain compliance.
This is a full-time position located in Perth (or Adelaide), working Monday through Friday.
Key elements of the role include:
Manage the statutory reporting process, including the preparation and lodgement of all required reports in WA, NSW, SA, VIC, QLD and NT
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all statutory reporting timeframes are met
Manage the South Australian tenement portfolio to ensure ongoing compliance and security of tenure
Ability to present and explain tenement reporting requirements to Exploration, Planning and Operations staff
Providing support to our South Australian exploration drilling programs by submitting statutory forms to regulators in required timeframes to enable commencement of work
Manage subsequent reporting of results to regulators in required format and timeframe
Work with Exploration and Projects staff for the receipt of information for tenement management purposes
Communicate EPEPRs to field geologists to ensure licence conditions are met
Communicate with the broader Iluka staff to explain the purpose of tenements and their associated statutory requirements and the importance of meeting these obligations
Maintain close communication with exploration staff as necessary
Communicate with regulators to foster a good working relationship and to ensure regulatory requirements are met
Ongoing maintenance of tenement reporting and team procedures where required
Attend meetings with the regulators in South Australia and other jurisdictions where required
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in geology or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in tenement management and reporting
Previous experience with Mineral Sands exploration and or relevant experience with other commodities
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
Previous experience with using tenement and GIS software packages (ARCGIS and Landtracker) is desirable but not essential
