Classification: ANU Officer 7 (Research)Salary package: $97,707 to $102,600 per annum, plus 17% SuperannuationTerm: Full-Time, Continuing (Contingent Funding) (up to 2 years) (Part time hours will be considered) The PositionThe Sustainable Farms initiative at the Australian National University is seeking a terrestrial Ecologist to join our team to monitor biodiversity on farms. This is an opportunity to play a key role in diverse and impactful projects underpinning conservation policy and programs in agricultural landscapes. Successful applicants must have a willingness to travel outside of normal hours and work in remote locations when required (e.g. during intensive field camps of up to two weeks at a time). There is a preference for candidates that are regionally based in the Riverina, NSW (e.g. Wodonga, Yass, or Wagga Wagga) but Canberra, ACT will also be considered.
