About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to liaise with stakeholders across West Moreton Health to produce deliverables associated with the implementation of the West Moreton Health Research Strategy 2021-2025.
This role will report to the Director of Research & Innovation at West Moreton Health, who will be based within the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR) for the duration of this project. QCMHR will supervise implementation of this project as West Moreton Health's leading research organisation and a global leader in health research.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Advanced knowledge of health research in clinical and health service settings.
- Advanced knowledge of how university partners intersect with health services to support research.
- Advanced research project management skills, with knowledge of research codes of practice and ability to apply ethical guidelines in research behaviour.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience in writing reports, delivering presentations, and tailoring commutation to suit a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the health system, with higher education, and across other sectors as necessary.
- Willingness to travel within the West Moreton Health and Greater Brisbane regions, as appropriate.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the
- A postgraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution in health, social or behavioural sciences, or a related field is essential.
