Senior Research Engineer/Scientist (Med Tech/Image Processing) 4DMedical is an ASX listed global medical technology company aiming to improve the outcomes for patients with lung disease by revolutionising respiratory imaging and ventilation analysis. We utilise cutting-edge algorithms from mechanical engineering, image processing and mathematics to build proprietary Software as a Service (SaaS) based products that deliver new insights into lung function and patient health. We are currently looking for engineers and scientists to develop new methods for extracting functional information from medical images. You’ll join our Research Team and use custom software to design prototypes and evaluate novel concepts that will rapidly be translated into innovative medical products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of experienced researchers, engineers, and image analysis specialists. What can you expect as a Senior Research Engineer at 4DMedical? As a Senior Research Engineer you will work in our tight-knit Research Team to investigate, experiment, and evaluate new image processing techniques. You will be responsible for designing the underlying methods used in our novel lung motion analysis software, which are turned into commercial software products by our Software Team.
