If so, we are seeking a skilled Designer to lead a growing team in our documentation department and be responsible for the delivery and manage of CAD shop drawings using Solidoworks.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As a CAD/Solidworks draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in leading the brief initiation and delivery of shop drawings for new retail initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed briefs with the product team
- Creating and approving construction drawings and specifications covering a variety of retail projects
- Management of the drawing vault (PDM)
- Creation of assemblies and BOM's
- Creation of installation and packaging documentation
- Applying and maintaining documentation standards
- Providing and aiding the store modelling team with models and drawing support
- Design support and assistance to the manufacturing team (local and offshore)
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in solidworks as a senior CAD/Draftsperson
- Experience or good understanding of retail displays /joinery/cabinetry
- Experience with document set up and management (PDM)
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
- Retail design experience beneficial
- Approved Australian working rights only.
