Reward plays an important role in enabling business and talent strategies, through attraction, retaining and motivating talent, and supporting our cultural priorities, including risk culture. The Reward chapter area is focused on on building mastery of skills across a range of specialist reward areas which enables leaders to make informed reward decisions so CBA can attract, retain and motivate talent. We are amidst exciting agile transformation which will provide opportunities to work across prioritised projects requiring reward expertise across multi-disciplinary teams.
As a Senior Manager in the Reward Consulting Chapter, this role will be working with the People Listening and Recognition squad that implements the people listening strategy and designs and implements the recognition strategy for the Group. The role will also be focused on supporting the Group’s pinnacle recognition programs - The Excellence Awards and Everyday Legends to ensure that recognition reinforces and enables cultural priorities (through a values-lens).
Do work that matters:
  • Ensure recognition programs achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency outcomes, assuming end-to-end accountability of program performance from conceptual design to award delivery and execution.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, escalating issues on behalf of the team which may impede program performance/deliverables.
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders including key business champions, suppliers and partners to ensure program objectives are being met and areas of improvement identified.
  • Devise and implement engagement strategies with innovative tactical plans to expand utilisation and maximise cultural change.
  • Use data and feedback to determine opportunities and challenges to develop informed solutions driven by this knowledge.
  • Make actionable recommendations to ensure programs continually evolve to meet the Bank’s people and business needs.
  • Supervise the program library to ensure all SOPs and governance documentation are fully maintained.
  • Supervise program budgets to ensure program expenditure and performance to plan.
  • Ensuring the Group’s recognition programs full meet and satisfy all regulatory, internal policy and process obligations.
  • Managing financial, conduct, operational and reputational risks
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:
  • Experience leading large projects (RFP experience desired but not required).
  • Knowledge of change and communication requirements within projects, and ability to work with internal experts and key stakeholders to implement change and communications.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
