Reporting to the Safety Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our rail transport system on the SMCSW project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Safety Assurance processes, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations in accordance with national rail safety laws and relevant standards for our rolling stock and rail systems.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Technology or equivalent discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills
- Relevant experience working within Safety Assurance in a transport environment (rail preferred)
