The Role:
In addition to having a genuine passion and consistent drive for safety, the environment and wellbeing, you will also bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Support safety, environment and wellbeing education and performance improvement programs.
- Monitor implemented safety, environment and wellbeing standards, guidance, and tools.
- Provide safety, environment, and wellbeing assistance to civil construction projects from tender handover to practical completion.
- Ensure safety, environment, and wellbeing KPIs, reporting and investigations are achieved and completed in required timeframes.
- Confidence in laws, regulations, and standards knowledge, and ability to practically apply on civil construction sites.
- Ability to positively lead teams through incident/illness investigations, risk and opportunity register reviews, control documents reviews and training sessions.
About You:
It is expected that you will have the following experience to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in health, safety and environment fields and relevant civil construction industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing advice and support to the business on general HSE queries and matters.
- Knowledge of health & safety and environment standards, legislation, systems, and industry best practice.
- Systems knowledge and capability in data analytics and reporting.
- Minimum diploma qualifications in safety, environment, or related discipline.
