Senior Salesforce Developer

Your new company

You will work within a large public sector organisation. The role is a 6-month contract with a view to extend.

Your new role

• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications, including Apex code, Omni Scripts, Flex Cards, Omni Studio, Lightning components, and triggers.
• Write efficient, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement complex business logic and automation using Apex and Flow.
• Create data models, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for Salesforce implementations.
• Design and build integrations between Salesforce and other systems, both internal and external, using tools like Salesforce Connect, APIs, and middleware.
• Lead the release management process, including sandbox management, version control, and deployment of changes through development, testing, and production environments.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 5 years' experience of delivering complex Salesforce technical solutions in a delivery capacity across enterprise environments.
• Preferably one year experience with Salesforce Industry cloud and specifically for Public Sector Solutions and toolkit.
• Understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
• In-depth understanding of the Salesforce product suite - particularly Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Design/Build experience with Salesforce Flows, Omnistudio/Vlocity, business rules engine functionality
• Experience with writing unit test cases and providing support to the test team.
• Understanding of Salesforce Grantmaking/ Grant Management processes/data model
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and implementation options
• Understanding of platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
• The ability to write clean, maintainable Apex code as part of a continuous integration and delivery process.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Lightning Framework.
