Utilise your administrative skills to assist in the processing of student scholarships at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the PositionAs the Senior Scholarships Officer, you will provide subject matter expertise in the day-to-day operations of student scholarships for the University. Working with a team of Student Administration Officers and a distributed network of staff involved in the end-to-end processes for scholarships your duties will include:
Consistent application of scholarships business processes by providing documentation and training
Integrity of the data created through scholarships processes
Compliance with relevant legislation and/or quality standards
Delivering against the annual schedule of operational deadlines
Outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
Supporting the Higher Education Enrolments team, or other CDU teams as required from time to time
About You
To be successful, you will require:
A degree with subsequent relevant experience in an operational role in a high regulated industry and/or complex organization or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document business processes, guidelines and work instructions and develop training material for administrative staff
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex processes or regulations, to provide clear information to customers and to communicate effectively with staff
Track record in delivering against a schedule of administrative deadlines, with strong organisational skills, project management skills and personal drive and self-motivation
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and practices
Experience coordinating a team of administrative or customer service staff (in the vocational or higher education sector preferred), including managing workloads and supporting staff to learn new processes
An outstanding commitment to customer-service for internal and external customers, and for infusing back-of-house teams with a passion for customer outcomes alongside administrative excellence
Advanced level of technical proficiency in administrative systems and platforms, including the use of large corporate databases and MSOffice software, and the ability to extract and manipulate large volumes of data without compromising integrity

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 6. The base salary will be in the range of $84,931 to $90.518 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $99,369 to $105,906 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
