Nova Systems are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team in Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne.
This permanent full-time role provides a unique opportunity to help mature our agile work practices and implement best practices of agile methodology.
What will you be involved in:
- Facilitate agile delivery based on our hybrid delivery methodology (Agile & Waterfall)
- Work with delivery teams, business stakeholders and product owners to breakdown work in the backlog
- Help prioritise iterative incremental delivery of business value and manage any re-prioritisation in case of scope/priority readjustment
- As a part of Agile ceremonies, organise and facilitate delivery estimation, sprint planning and daily stand ups, retrospectives etc
- Coach & maintain backlogs in Azure DevOps (or similar), and track, prioritise and assign tasks to team member
- Working to manage the velocity of sprints and managing burnouts with resource capacity management
- Manage & escalate any impediments blocking the delivery of outcomes
- Mentor and coach agile delivery across multiple teams
- Perform the role of Scrum Master to delivery teams and promote self-organisation
- Take the initiative to lead by example, adhere to, and provide suggestions for enhancing the team's work practices and delivery frameworks
- Support delivery & operations and align them to Agile adaption to deliver initiatives
- Manage delivery outcomes for multiple backlogs (e.g., ERP, Cyber Security)
What we would like from you:
- 5-7 years' experience in similar role
- Previous experience in a similar role within an agile delivery environment
- Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar e.g. Jira), MS Project (or similar), SharePoint, MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Professional Services Automation/an ERP system (Oracle is desirable)
- Strong financial acumen and financial reporting experience (desirable)
- Scrum certification
- Agile Certification
- SAFe Certification
