Your key responsibilities
- Provide advice to internal and external clients on ICT security issues within JAG. (SFIA: CNSL 4)
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and implementation of ICT security policies and practices within JAG. (SFIA: METL 4)
- Manage and maintain JAG ICT gateway security services including departmental firewalls, antivirus, internet and email proxy services and content filtering, intrusion prevention system and DMZ environment. (SFIA: SCAD 4)
- Develop and implement security measures to protect JAG Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and applications. (SFIA: SCTY 4)
- Conduct security risk assessments to identify internal and external threats to JAG ICT and develop and implement processes to address these. (SFIA: VUAS 4)
- Conduct gap analyses of JAG ICT security and implement strategies to address any areas of concern identified.
- Promote security awareness in line with industry best practice and departmental policies.
- Assist the Principal Cybersecurity Engineer in the development and review of Business proposals and projects from an information security perspective.
