Summary of Role:
The Department of Treasury and Finance is looking to transform and modernise their operations and way of working, using digital as one of its levers. The department has commenced the establishment of an internal Centre of Excellence (CoE) for its digital services, transforming the existing Information and Technology branch into a high-quality enabler for its broad business.
The Senior Service Delivery Officer excels in delivering exceptional service support. This role provides valuable guidance to the Service Desk team for positive customer outcomes. This role takes charge of spearheading and supporting the ongoing transformation and advancement of the Service Desk Team. A key focus of this role is driving digital service improvements for our customers. This is achieved through the facilitation of innovative processes using existing and new tools, while acting as a mentor for the Service Desk team.
The incumbent directly reports to the Level 2 Service Desk Team Leader and collaborates closely with both the Level 1 and Level 2 Service Desk groups.

This is an initial term contract for up to 12 months.
Special Conditions:
- Some out of hours work may be Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program.
- The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.
- Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department Human Services General Probity Check. A renewal will be required every three years.
