The Role
Goodwe has a dedicated team for Australia and New Zealand and are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the team, in-line with the company growth. The role will be based in QLD Australia with remote work from home and occasional travel. The role will suit an Engineer currently within the solar industry & preferably the commercial storage market. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience within this sector.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the tele and on-site technical support and post-sales support for large C&I storage market
- Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of Goodwe C&I storage products.
- Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions.
- Leading the C&I storage projects in AU and NZ in line with the local sales team to ensure the projects are delivered with the highest degree of service & support.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholder customers within C&I storage market.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above: Must have electrical or electronics background.
- Preferred minimum 3 years work experience in the solar industry dealing with C&I storage inverters and batteries.
- Strong ability to analyse and solve problems independently.
- Reliable and self-motivated
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, positive, and customer-driven attitude
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Adapt to frequent travel.
- Driving license required.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
