ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting and managing the design, development and operations of varied and unique Water Treatment Systems.
- Directly supervising installation and commissioning works, including management of trades and engineers.
- Managing and administering assigned work packages in order to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Undertaking procurement activities, including drafting scope of works for subcontractor packages, issuing purchase orders, and administering subcontracts with support from the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
- Managing quality control of works to ensure compliance with Enviropacific’s quality management systems and contract requirements.
- Working closely with site supervisors/managers and subcontractors to ensure daily activities align with the construction program.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be a highly driven Engineer who is driven to deliver complex and exciting Water Treatment projects. They will also need the following:
- Degree qualified Engineer in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Process Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
- Experience in coagulation, flocculation, ion exchange, GAC, filtration, UF, NF, RO, breakpoint chlorination and liquids, solids separation
- Experience detailing ITPs and ITRs for the design, procurement, receipt, and commissioning of complex Water Treatment plant
- Strong Experience in delivering Water Treatment Design and Operations
- Experiencing in managing a project life cycle from Design stage through to construction and commissioning.
- Demonstrated experience working on sites with multiple contractors
