Job Opportunity –
We are looking for a proven Diesel mechanic that wants to take the journey and become an industry specialist. You will be trained and developed from day one in the world of foundation engineering. You will work from the workshop and look to work on the equipment listed above. It will come down to your technical experience to diagnose and trouble shoot on large mobile equipment. With the Operations Manager and workshop manager working with you in the first few weeks they are to give you guidance and training on the high-tech machinery. Once you are qualified and management are happy with your ability to trouble shoot and work within the guidelines of the OEM it’s then up to you to work externally on customers’ machinery onsite. You could be working on several different site locations from Ports, Mine sites, Civil Construction, Tunnels and even offshore.
Job requirements –
- Repair & Maintenance of equipment.
- Diagnostics & Trouble Shooting
- Problem solving
- Reading Mechanical schematics
- Overall, inspect and repair of machinery.
- Coordinate with factory and workshop on technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with parts department.
- Order and control of all customer issues.
- Develop leads of external sales staff
- Travel nationally for training & development programmes.
- Assessment of work/repairs required.
Candidate requirements –
As you have read this is not your average Diesel Mechanic role, We are looking for someone pretty unique that’s wants a career within a specialist industry. With Advance training and ongoing support from the OEM you can also do more courses and education platform that will enhance your skills. We also put you through a basic ticket that you don’t have from
- Forklift Tickets
- Working with Heights
- HR Truck License
- Overhead crane ticket
What we must have is the following key points, To secure and interview you must have the following –
- Cert 3 Mobile Plant Mechanic
- Excellent Hydraulic skills
- Keen sense of technical acumen
- Good attitude and the ability to problem solve.
Job Location – Kellyville NSW
Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm
Hours per week – 40
Salary package –
On offer is lucrative earning potential, I must also highlight that once you have been trained and developed through several training courses you will also receive and increase in your package. You will get an allowance if you are asked to travel further on in your time with the OEM.
- Base Salary - $130,000 to $150,000
