Senior Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their team, contributing to a diverse product portfolio across the entire software development lifecycle. You will be collaborating with a dynamic team of multi-disciplinary engineers shaping the future of cutting-edge products. About the opportunity Develop innovative products used to enhance autonomy both in underground and open pit mines. Participate in all stages of software design, implementation, testing, and product release. Contribute to the design of system architecture. Work as part of a talented team of software engineers and engineers from other disciplines across different projects. Support test features through both simulations and the physical product. Work across a codebase of C++ and Python on a Linux operating system. Work to create new features on existing products, maintain and customize features, and be involved in the development of new products. About you Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to turn user requirements into an effective engineering design. You’ve worked with contemporary software development lifecycle practices for task management, source code version control, continuous integration, and unit testing. Experience working on Linux or a similar operating system. An interest in embedded software, electronics, robotics and automation is beneficial. Strong programming skills in either C++ or Python for complex product development. Experience with sensing, communications, and location technologies is beneficial.
