Senior Software Engineer with 9Now.The CTV (Connected TV) Web team is a primarily front-end agile software development team building the "Future of Television". Our core responsibility is building Nine’s suite of applications that run on web TVs (Android TV, Apple TV). We're at the forefront of 9Now’s strategy with unprecedented growth in Smart TV, set-top box usage across Australia.
Qualifications- Previous experience in an Senior Engineering role (Or demonstrated leadership experience)
- Hands-on experience with Typescript, JavaScript, React, React Native or equivalent front-end framework
- Unit testing and Test Driven Development
- Patience and understanding when mentoring and coaching other engineers
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff
- Passionate about learning and continuous self improvement
