About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a passionate Senior Software Engineer (.NET, API Developer) to come and work with us on exciting new projects for some of Australia’s leading organisations.
With a focus on creative collaboration, you’ll get the opportunity to be part of an integrated, multi-disciplined team building innovative solutions for blue-chip clients like Woodside, VenuesWest, FringeWorld, Rottnest Island Authority and more.
Fusing strategic thinking, mature processes and agile delivery, you’ll work with creative freedom developing robust, user-friendly web/mobile applications and CMS driven sites.
**Please note, this is a Perth based role and all applicants must be able to attend the office weekly**
About You
If you’re a Software Engineer who wants to move away from small budget projects, to work on a diverse range of blue-chip, customer-focused projects across multiple industries, this is the role for you.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about development, who is keen to think innovatively and ready to craft exceptional digital experiences and has a genuine passion for tech.
You’ll enjoy being part of an agile team working in a dynamic environment built on collaboration and communication and continually want to learn and improve.
Skills you’ll possess:
- Minimum 7 years experience work with C# .NET, SQL Server and IIS.
- 1 year experience using .Net Core
- Strong attention to detail
- HTML5 and JavaScript.
- RESTful web services, GraphQL and 3rd party integrations.
- GIT, branching, merging and conflict resolution
- CI/CD tools (eg Octopus, Team City, Bit bucket pipelines).
- Exposure to Azure and AWS
- Understanding of Solution Architecture
- Ability to work well in a high performing team.
- Knowledge of best-practice coding standards and security principles
Preferred but not essential:
- A tertiary qualification in an applicable field is preferred.
- Angular JS, React JS or React Native experience.
- JS-based build tools like Webpack, Yarn, and Bower.
- Octopus Deploy and TeamCity experience.
- Previous agency experience
- Atlassian suite of products or similar
- CMS experience is highly regarded (Umbraco, Sitefinity or other .NET based CMS).
Personal Skills:
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Strong multitasking skills as you will be working on multiple projects at once.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
