Then read on!We are on the search for a skilled and switched-on Senior Software Engineer to join our client’s top team in the SaaS space, based in Brisbane. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain frontend and backend components of our client’s sophisticated application. This consists of public portals, desktop web apps, mobile apps and job servers, deployed into Azure. You will also assist with the migration of their codebase and develop exciting new features using cloud-native functionality, including AI.

- Maintain backend and frontend components in the application
- Migrate the codebase from .Net Framework to .Net 8 and Vue.Js
- Develop new features using cloud-native functionality, including AI
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale
- Collaborate with team to create new product features
- Identity areas of improvement and increased security
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience using .Net and Single Page Applications (SPA)
- Fluent in C#, .Net, Angular 12+, Vue.Js 3.0
- Strong experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, SQL Server 2016+, Lucene .Net and Azure cloud services, including Azure Service Bus and Cognitive Services
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP, web infrastructure, microservices, event-driven architectures, SOLID principals and design patterns
- Experience in managing and/or mentoring technical teams
- Experience with Octopus deploy or other CI/CD pipelines would be a bonus
Salary: $150-180k+ Super
