Job Description- Contribute to and manage the review and drafting of regulatory instruments and legislation for the company
- Provide authoritative legal advice to senior management, working parties, staff, and committees.
- Brief external law firms and Counsel on legal issues, prepare briefing documents, and communicate advice to internal stakeholders.
- Support regulatory projects by coordinating stakeholders, drafting strategic plans, and monitoring KPIs.
- Assist in developing guidelines, training, and communication for new legislation and regulations.
The Successful Applicant- Tertiary qualifications in Law, admitted as an Australian Lawyer, eligible for a Practising Certificate in Victoria.
- Strong regulatory law background, ideally in-house at a regulator or law firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex legal advice and briefings to senior leaders.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide authoritative advice on legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, plan effectively, and support regulatory projects.
