The Role

OMB Solicitors is a dynamic, progressive and busy firm based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. 

Our Insurance Litigation practice is growing and we are seeking a Senior Personal Injury Paralegal who is looking to have a long-term career to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be a key member of our Insurance Litigation Team and you will bring with you a positive approach, have the ability to work autonomously and have a genuine a desire to succeed.

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will be someone who has previous experience in Personal Injury Law and has the ability to assist both our Personal Injury and Litigation as required.  

To be considered for the role, you should have:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Great organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
• Confidence to liaise with professionals at all levels
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

In this role you will be responsible for:-

• Working with a Team Leader and other lawyers and support staff to assist with the day to day conduct of a busy Insurance Litigation practice
• Drafting documents to include court forms, legal documents, briefs, instructions and general correspondence
• Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines and competing priorities
• Looking after and managing clients 
• Conducting legal research
• Cultivating strong relationships both internally and externally
• Ad hoc administration when required
