A bit about your role
As the Senior Solution Architect, you will be one of our most senior architects guiding the way we leverage information technology and transform systems at nbn, with coverage of the network technologies, core software infrastructure, security, COTS and bespoke applications. You will be accountable for the following by building close working relationship with business portfolio teams in A&D, engineering teams in DevSecOps and Network & Security architects in Enterprise Architecture:
Delivery of Solution Architecture artefacts as per the new delivery model (SAR, VSAR, Solution Contexts, Interface Specs, Cost Estimations, Non-functional Requirements and Opex impacts) for all Portfolio Epics accountable for
Managing the solution from Delivery till handover to IT Operations, ensuring alignment of Delivery with specified Solution Architecture.
Developing & maintaining domain’s reference architectures (VSAR), architectural patterns and system roadmaps that enable solutions to meet current and future business needs
This role reports into the Senior Manager, Network Assurance & Optimisation, OSS & SP, SEO A&D.
In the context of these responsibilities the Senior Solution Architect is a technical leader and innovator that takes appropriate risks, exceed our commitments, and does great work.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate is an individual who has a strong background in Telco Network and / or IT software & solution architecture in the domains of activation & assurance, test & diagnostic, service performance and customer interactions. Specific knowledge on in-scope systems and domain/process knowledge in areas such as activation or assurance may also be required. In addition to this, your experience will include having demonstrated experience as a Senior Architect in Telecom BSS/OSS domain. Proven experience with cloud-native architecture (AWS services) and microservices architecture is expected.
