Senior Solution Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated SAP Senior Solution Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in Core Banking transformation projects. You will anchor the engagement with key customers, from the initial business process analysis and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. Assuming ownership and responsibility for conception and realization of the required business/technical requirements, you will act as a thought leader in your domain, advising on functional and technical aspects of solutions.Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the crucial link between high-level business objectives and the technical solutions necessary to achieve them.
• Utilise your deep understanding of technology, solution design, and architecture to align these aspects with our customers’ goals and requirements.
• Provide high-level guidance to projects and their teams, making critical decisions about components and their interactions.
• Work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and align project scope.
• Represent our customers in discussions with our internal Product team.
• Engage, inform, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure they remain engaged and committed to the solution/architecture outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into solutions that maximize customer value.
• Leverage your expertise to ensure solution development adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Being a go-to expert for Technical Architecture / Solution.
• Providing strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Support our customer with the transition from their legacy system to TRBK on HANA, both on premise and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure governance across the end-to-end solution and system landscape.
• Coach, guide, and lead other team members to enable them to provide expert advice and designs to our customers.
• Help customers with High Level Solution Architecture and Design artefacts.
• Promote and position new solutions provided by SAP Fioneer.
• Co-ordinate and manage production support related requests.
• Provide both high level estimations for large scale implementation and detailed estimates on build item level.
• Coordinate work packages between different teams.
• Develop customer specific and/or project specific Solution Architectures and designs.

Requirements

• Min 15+ years working as a Solution Architect, senior SAP consultant or Team/Practice lead in SAP Core Banking.
• University degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or relevant areas of studies.
• Ability to communicate on all levels for both internal and customer facing discussions, including C-Level.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Core Banking technology, system design, and architecture specifically Deposits Management, Loans Management and Master Contract Management. Knowledge of SAP HANA and or SAP Fioneer TRBK is a plus.
• Good knowledge in cloud technologies, CI/CD and modern development methodologies.
• Good knowledge of current security and infrastructure aspects.
• Strong experience in pre-sale roles and activities.
• Strong analytical and technical skills as well as excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult senior leaders in an organisation, while also providing thought leadership to key stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems.
• Customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer, and will break down all barriers to ensure customer success.
• An enthusiasm to learn, and willingness to adapt to change and always look for ways to fully leverage your abilities no matter the task at hand.
• The adaptability to succeed in agile, cross-functional teams, with excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
