Large health insurance organisation headquartered in Sydney, embarking on a multi-year transformation program with CRM, Data and Applications at the core.

The architecture function is established and on a significant growth and maturity journey, and you can play your part in this.
The Person
You will gather, interpret and translate business, technical, functional and non-functional requirements into solution design artefacts to enable developers and testers to create efficient and reliable IT solutions.
You will define and establish the solution architecture, from initial conceptual vision through to the concrete software architecture specifications.
You will provide expert input and guidance into the planning and design phase of projects to ensure deliverables are consistent with architecture at an enterprise level.
You will manage relationships with business stakeholders and partner around requirements and impacts for new applications or solutions to reinforce decision making on business outcomes.
You will understand, influence and advise on solution designs to ensure that business needs are translated into design architecture. Inform business stakeholders of progress and issues.
Skills and Experience
For you to be successful in this role you must have a proven track record in designing and implementing complex, mission-critical and high traffic solution architectures.
Experience in TOGAF, ZACHMAN or similar architectural frameworks and familiarity with tools for architecture and solution design is a requirement.
Capability in applying effective review and guidance processes during the implementation process to ensure compliance with technical design specifications and identify gaps and potential solutions.
Proven business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare reports and documentation.
Insurance industry experience highly regarded.
