Senior Sourcing Manager (12 months contract)

Job SummaryThis key role is dedicated to overseeing strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relations, contract administration, supply chain expansion, and risk mitigation, specifically focusing on Supplier engagements. This entails supporting a diverse Product Development projects. As an integral part of the Cross Functional Project Teams (XFT), your primary responsibility will be to foster productive relationships between our supply base, XFT, and the broader ResMed Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) within the designated portfolio. Your relentless focus on supplier engagements is geared towards achieving optimal business outcomes while meeting the unique demands of the portfolio.The Sourcing Manager, stationed at the Bella Vista campus, collaborates closely with Product Development, cross-functional teams (XFTs), and Supplier Alliance teams to craft and execute Sourcing Strategies for projects. This involves identifying new suppliers, managing existing partnerships, and ensuring seamless communication between ResMed and suppliers. Success in this role hinges on your ability to devise, collaborate on, and implement supply chain solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements and production volume scalability of both released Products and Products in development.Let’s Talk About the RoleServe as the representative of the Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) function within the project XFT for projects within the designated portfolio.Develop and execute supply chain design and sourcing strategies for assigned projects in collaboration with business stakeholders, particularly cross-functional teams (XFT) and GSA function, to meet project timelines, budgets, and COGS targets.Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and GSA teams to identify key technologies driving innovation, quality, and cost efficiency, ensuring effective integration by suppliers through collaborative strategies.Ensure sourcing strategies consider the balance between project needs, GSA strategies, commercial strategies, and prevailing business conditions.Lead the supplier selection process in alignment with the sourcing strategy and facilitate business processes in conjunction with ResMed Quality Management System.Ensure appropriate commercial contracts and agreements are in place and that all components, software, and outsourced systems are aligned with ResMed business processes.Drive adoption of best practices and implement change management strategies to align commercial resources with evolving business demands.Spearhead continuous process improvement within sourcing operations by leveraging data analytics to identify optimization and efficiency enhancement opportunities.Let’s Talk About YouProficient in delivering clear and concise communications across various mediums, especially when providing updates and addressing challenges.Strong business acumen with expertise in cost management.Exceptional project management skills, including planning and reporting.Ability to analyze and interpret data, facilitating the creation of business solutions.Demonstrated ability to cultivate strategic partner relationships.Extensive expertise in global procurement practices and legal regulations.Strong negotiation skills and supply base management to maintain ResMed's competitive advantage.Familiarity with technical elements to identify resources necessary for optimal supplier and project outcomes.Outstanding problem-solving abilities adaptable to diverse environments.Proficient in stakeholder management.Ability to understand ResMed’s Quality Management system and product development cycle.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, agile work environment.Preferred Software KnowledgeOracle, Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/IE/Project, Tableau, Power BI, Jira/Confluence, Contract Management, RFP software.Let’s Talk About Qualifications and ExperienceRequiredBachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or Business discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant fields.Strong commercial background in Manufacturing/Engineering/Supply environment.Experience in global or regional sourcing or a similar commercial function is advantageous.Prior involvement in new product development, demonstrating adaptability and innovation.Proven track record of collaboration within cross-functional teams, showcasing effective communication and teamwork.A broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics.PreferredRecognized qualification in Procurement with excellence in strategic sourcing.Experience in the medical device industry, particularly within project portfolios.Familiarity with quality systems in environments such as medical device/pharmaceutical/FMCG.Let's Talk About Benefits:At ResMed, we offer:Flexible/hybrid work arrangement options.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Free onsite parkingCafé Onsite (subsidized meal)And many more!Join Us:If you are ready to make a difference and be part of a team that is shaping the future of healthcare, apply now!
