  About the opportunity

The Senior Finance Manager operates within the livestock, supplementary and Primary Processing of Greenstock’s business cycle and will partner with the business to deliver Greenstock’s key strategic goals through longer term planning & Strategic Sourcing, protein economics and optimising our supply chain network.
 
What you’ll do

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and insight with respect to defining and executing the optimal livestock & supplementary Sourcing and procurement strategies
• Partner with the Primary Processing team on contract re-negotiations and ensuring we optimising the commercial outcome for Greenstock through transparent benchmarking 
• The setting of annual budget targets and regular forecasts including quarterly standard costing and productivity opportunities
• Deliver the monthly Greenstock P&L and reporting identifying key cost drivers and with meaningful insights & actions 
• Lead, coach and manage change; Drive continuous improvement and innovation across Greenstock Finance including mentoring and developing team through coaching to support career objectives and growth 

What you’ll bring
 
In Finance we have an overarching capability framework that brings to life 5 key capabilities that shape who we are, what we do and how we work together, these are; value co-creator, inspiring leader, trusted advisor, agile learner and insights generator.  We are looking forward to hearing how you may have demonstrated these capabilities whilst also thinking about your relevant experience. You will have:

• CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification with at least 10+ years experience post qualification experience 
• Experience within supply chain or manufacturing industries 
• Background within Agricultural sector (food produce, livestock, seafood, poultry etc) will be highly regarded but not a must
• Proven business partnering skills with a strong desire to add commercial value through analysis and insight
• Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
