Senior Sourcing Manager – ICT Strategic Sourcing

Ongoing full time opportunity
Role based in Sydney
Clerk Grade: 11/12 The package includes a base salary starting at $139,787 to 161,663 plus superannuation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
a comprehensive understanding of government procurement requirements, policies and processes
a track record of delivering procurement processes in a complex stakeholder environment which have achieved favourable commercial outcomes.
the ability to navigate and optimise complex procurement processes.
the ability to coordinate procurement related inputs from stakeholders outside of your immediate organisation to realise solutions which are suitable for use by a broad range of customers and suppliers.
a track record of acting according to the highest ethical standards.
a sound understanding of the ICT market including knowledge of enterprise technologies commonly procured by large organisations.
excellent written and verbal communication skills and
an ability to work as part of a team.
About the role:
We are looking for an energetic and process driven Senior Sourcing Manager to deliver procurement and sourcing processes required to establish all of government ICT agreements covering hardware, software, professional services, telecommunications and cloud. Your key accountabilities will include the following:
Lead and manage the team to deliver best value for money in procurement and sourcing activities adhering to Government processes, procedures, and priorities to meet stakeholder expectations and achieve organizational objectives.
Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks consolidating opportunities for improvement and innovation to minimize negative impacts on sourcing objectives.
Provide expert, strategic advice to key customers and stakeholders on all aspects of procurement to encourage innovative practices and support the delivery of business and policy directions.
Contribute and support the development and implementation of best practice innovative solutions and procurement strategies to optimise value for money outcomes and meet business objectives.
Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to identify and minimise risks and resolve issues to ensure that key performance indicators and optimise service outcomes.
Lead the development of evidence-based procurement strategies, policies and processes to achieve quality and continuity of supply, procurement savings and improved business outcomes.

Strategic Sourcing is a dynamic team of specialists within the ICT / Digital Sourcing branch of the Digital.NSW division.
