We are an award winning restaurant space overlooking the cool climate vines and stunning grounds. Operating a large modern kitchen, we craft every dish with heart and honesty, using only the best local produce available.
You will join a friendly and supportive work culture, and can also look forward to a great lifestyle as we are an a la carte lunch only restaurant, opening only on evenings for pop up events, weddings and functions.
Our Kitchen leadership team has clear objectives across both preparation and service delivery, this gives us a goal to work towards and the satisfaction of meeting the mark.
As the Senior Sous Chef at Josef Chromy, you will be running the brigade for a la carte and function services, in the Head Chef's absence, and also cooking busy service on all sections.

Now let's talk about you:
- Experience in both Classic and Modern cooking techniques.
- Experience in Hatted or Michelin starred restaurants is preferred, as we have high expectations of our product.
- Able to hold down a section of the busy kitchen.
- Sound organisational ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willing and motivated to mentor and teach our other team members.
