As a Senior Senior Spatial Specialist, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know. Here's how:
- Provide senior technical leadership and direction for the group's transformation efforts relating to spatial data and Information - including your expert, high level advice and guidance to planning, projects and services, developing advanced spatial solutions and mentoring technical staff.
- Lead, manage, guide and mentor technical spatial staff to achieve agreed outcomes in accordance with technical spatial standards, procedures and frameworks
- Manage the coordination and production of fit for purpose spatial data, visualisations/mapping and analytics/reporting to best practice design principles whilst meeting business requirements
- Act as a technical advisor and provide oversight for team project
- A formal qualification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Cartography, Spatial Information Science or an equivalent discipline with FME and ESRI suite of products (or similar tools).
- Demonstrated abilities to lead, guide and mentor staff
- Experience in the creation of cartographic quality mapping products.
- Demonstrated experience in the establishment and support of complex spatial analysis singular and multi workflow analytical scripts to solve business problems
