This is a full time position , the role includes, but is not limited to, the following: Flexible hours for the right candidate.
Medical Typing, Billing via Eclipse
Sending Letters with Medical Objects
Answering telephone and email enquiries: demonstrating excellent grammar, composition and spelling for professional emails required internal communications and management of correspondence with patients and third parties.
Scheduling and coordinating surgical bookings.
Maintaining banking reports
Set up files for new patients.
Preparation of surgical quotes for patients following consultation
Organising theatre/hospital bookings for patients as well as liaising with the anaesthetist.
Preparation of remote consulting packs
Filing and retrieving paper records
Sterilisation of surgical instruments
Patient record management: Ensuring required levels of privacy, security, and patient confidentiality at all times.
Required Experience and Attributes
- A practical understanding of patient requirements with a view to ongoing improvement in patient satisfaction.
- Experience with Genie essential
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar position within a private single surgeon surgical specialist clinic
- Ability to engage potential patients when they call for information and enquires.
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly and proactively within a small team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills
