Role;
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, person-centered therapy services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities in the Bayside Peninsula Melbourne region. You'll be servicing NDIS participants in a community, clinic and school setting.
You will work alongside a team of experienced Allied health professionals, including Speech Pathologists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, counselors, and therapy assistants. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with participants, witness their progress, and support the growth and development of fellow Speech Pathologists and students.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Speech Pathology and contribute specialist knowledge to build capacity of speech pathology services.
- Provision of discipline specific expertise, including clinical supervision, to staff and students
- Attend and contribute to staff development and in-house training when appropriate.
- Assess and manage risk and conflict confidently and apply sound judgment within organisational processes and policies.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers and advocates in goal setting and monitoring
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathologist
- Associated registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum three years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist.
- Minimum twelve months experience in a supervisory role.

- Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- Salary lies between Health Professionals and Support Services Award Level 4 ($92K-118K, + superannuation, flexible depending on experience).
- Clinics located in Cheltenham and Frankton, servicing the Bayside and Penisula areas.
