Family owned and managed business in King Lake that has been producing high quality eggs for over 50 years require a Senior Storeman on a full time basis
Your new role
This role is key to the day to day control of stock movements: receiving deliveries, putting away stock and picking raw materials.
- Unloading delivery vehicles; check deliveries by performing incoming goods inspections and reject material that does not conform into red-line areas
- Put away received materials into designated areas
- Stock control, i.e., FIFO and inventory accuracy and stocktakes
- Operating forklift (Counter Balance) and other materials handling equipment, including start-up checks and procedures
- Completing SAP transactions for incoming and outgoing goods
- Contributing to the cleanliness of the processing site through area ownership
What you'll need to succeed
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Familiar with handling palletised and bulk materials
- Experienced in controlling a small warehouse
- Experienced in using computer systems for goods receipting and purchase order viewing
- Has had some exposure to monitoring DIFOT performance
- Has a strong understanding of measuring product quality against product specifications
- Capable of resolving delivery issues or seeking additional support where suitable
