Senior Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with 5+ years' experience in the mining, resources or maritime sector in Australia? TalentWeb is keen to discuss permanent, full-time roles with a civil and Structural Engineering consultancy for opportunities in Wollongong. 

You will be responsible for:

• Site investigation of dilapidated and existing mining, ports and bridge assets across regional Australia;
• Preparing forensic and remedial reports for asset owners and establishing a plan of action for the asset to continue operations into the future;
• Developing designs using Strand7 for the ongoing operation of the asset after consultation with the asset operator and owners;

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 + years' experience as a Structural Engineer in a similar role in mining and resources in Australia;
• Proficiency using Strand7 software;
• Sound knowledge and experience in structural design, analysis, client/stakeholder management and project delivery;
• Experienced with site inspections and defect identification.
