We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in South Australia. This role involves leading the design of a diverse range of commercial and industrial building projects, from conception through to completion. As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovative design, ensuring all projects are executed to the highest quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design of commercial and industrial building projects, ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and codes.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments, providing expert advice on structural integrity and design optimisations.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective project delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices and processes within the consultancy.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, accredited by Engineers Australia.
- 7+ years experience in the design of commercial and industrial buildings, with a proven track record of leading complex projects to successful completion.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes relevant to Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in Structural Engineering software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all project stakeholders.
