Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a full-time Senior Structural Engineer to join our company.

All relevant industry specific training required to undertake this role will be provided. No previous knowledge in the telecommunications field is expected.

Key responsibilities and attributes required include: 

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Australia with CPEng accreditation.
• Minimum 5 years consultancy experience within the Australian market
• Ability to provide detailed engineering input, reviews and sign-off of required design systems
• Ability to deliver Structural Engineering designs, calculations, methodologies and reports as required
• Conduct site inspections and liaising with relevant stakeholders
• Experience in dealing direct with clients and managing and mentoring junior engineers
• Experience in using Structural and technical design tools and/or software packages such as Space Gass, Checkpole, RAPT, etc.
• The application of logical and critical thinking in the preparation of both simple and complex design and construction drawings
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Word, and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Must have rights to work in Australia
