SalaryOur client is a locally owned, leading supplier to the heavy industrial, food / production manufacturing and water industries in Australia. They specialise in the design and fabrication of complex steel structures. As a result of securing multiple long term preferred supplier contracts within power stations, food processing companies, mining production groups and government / water authorities. They are seeking to expand their design team by partnering with a Senior Structural Engineer who will also act as the Technical Lead.
About You:
We are seeking an individual capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and fabricators to deliver projects and products to the highest standards.
As a Senior Structural Engineer / Technical Lead you will offer:
- Minimum 10 years' experience within production and /or engineering consulting
- RBP certification and CPEng (desirable)
- Diverse range of Structural Engineering skills, including design and operation of structural steel equipment, rotating equipment and tanks
- Experience to carry out Structural Engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction stage,
- Experience working in oil and gas facilities or similar manufacturing industries,
- Experience using Solidworks or Inventor
- Experience generating estimates and quotations.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
- Structural Engineering Degree or equivalent experience/qualification is mandatory
