About the role:
This role would suit a competent Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in their career and ready to tackle new challenges. You will be responsible for designing some major Melbourne projects. In a high-performing team, you will assist with detailed design, analysis, site inspections and client meetings. You will report to a hands-on Director and have a clear career progression plan set out from day one.
Your day will consist of:
Structural design of local buildings projects across multiple industries You will also engage with clients, architects and builders during meetings and site inspections.
- Design, analyse, and document projects
- Master RAPT, RAM Concept and ETABS
- Resolve technical design queries
- Attend site inspections when required
- Support senior management
- Liaise with clients, architects and builders
Your talents will include:
- Minimum four years Melbourne consultancy experience
- PER/NER/CPEng/IStructE highly beneficial
- Experience delivering projects independently
- Strong technical ability with FEA software
- Ability to present to clients and architects
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Rhino highly sought after
